Abstract

The isotherm and entropy of n-heptane adsorption in NaZSM-5 zeolite have been studied at 303K. Isotherm of adsorption satisfactorily described by equations of the VMOT equation from zero filling to saturation. N-heptane occupies ~100% of sorption capacity of zeolite according to end to end mechanism. Mean molar integral entropy equal to -156 J/mol/K that points out on solidlike state of hydrocarbon in the zeolite channels.
