Abstract

The article reveals the features of interpretation of classical ballets by M. Petipa on the stage of the State Academic Theatre named after Alisher Navoi. Ballets by M. Petipa are the basis of the repertoire and the leading direction of artistic development of the Opera and Ballet Theatre of Uzbekistan. A great creative achievement of the ballet company is the staging of Petipa's ballet "La Bayadère" in 2019.
