THE PECULARITIES OF TRANSLATION OF EUPHEMISM IN POLITICAL DISCOURSE
Keywords:
expressing a negative, assessment, consists in a constant changeAbstract
The problem of euphemisms in political literature, as well as their further analysis from the point of view of semantic and stylistic aspects, is of great practical importance in linguistics. Euphemia is a linguistic phenomenon heterogeneous in its integrity and very important in the lexical system of the language. Euphemism is not only a trope (an allegorical meaning of a word), which consists in expressing a negative assessment, but also an element of the structure of language. Under euphemization, it is considered to be a constant process of replacing some names with others, which consists in a constant change in the evaluation of forms of expression by a person in order to build successful communication.
