Abstract

The article talks about the role of the design code in the regulation of urban infrastructure elements, stylistic harmony in the environment, the importance of streets and roads in the city structure, their division into categories based on the rules of the design code, and the solutions for defining their boundaries. Problems that can be solved within the framework of the design code in the historical areas of Samarkand and Bukhara are studied.
