Abstract

This article presents a methodological system for enhancing social-emotional skills in preschool children, a critical phase in their development. The system emphasizes the creation of a nurturing environment, the cultivation of responsive relationships, the recognition and expression of emotions, empathy and perspective-taking, conflict resolution and problem-solving, self-regulation, and the development of social skills. By implementing these strategies, educators and caregivers can provide a comprehensive framework for children to develop crucial social and emotional competencies, setting the stage for their future well-being and success. Personalization of these strategies to meet each child's unique needs is emphasized to promote a holistic approach to social-emotional development.
