Abstract

The report substantiates the relevance of studying social and humanitarian disciplines at a university in modern socio-cultural conditions of the increasing role of upbringing students and the increasing requirements for their level of personal and professional development. Based on the study of scientific, philosophical and pedagogical literature, as well as personal experience of teaching at the university, the author puts forward a number of practical recommendations for increasing the effectiveness of social and humanitarian disciplines in modern conditions.
