This scientific article examines the theory and methodology of speech development, aimed at understanding and improving language acquisition in children. Speech development is a complex process involving various cognitive, linguistic and social factors. This article examines popular theories of speech development, such as the behaviorist, nativist, and interactionist perspectives, and examines the methodologies used to study and support language acquisition. This highlights the importance of early intervention, language-rich environments and individualized approaches to optimize children's speech development. The findings highlight the need for interdisciplinary research and evidence-based practices to develop effective communication skills and promote language diversity.
