Abstract
The article presents materials on the study of the agrochemical properties of meadow-alluvial soils, common in the Aral Sea region. In the course of the research, the change in the content of humus according to the degree of salinity and the duration of irrigation in the studied soils was studied. Unfavorable soil and climatic conditions of the region negatively affect the basic properties of the studied soils and lead to a deterioration in agrochemical properties and a decrease in their fertility. In this regard, it was revealed that the studied soils are generally poorly supplied in terms of the content of nutrients.
