Abstract
This thesis investigates the multifaceted challenges and potential strategies for enhancing Uzbekistan's standing in the World Bank's Corruption Prevention Index. Corruption is a significant barrier to economic development, social equity, and political stability in Uzbekistan. Through an in-depth analysis of historical data, current practices, and international benchmarks, this study identifies key areas requiring reform and provides actionable recommendations for policymakers. The research underscores the importance of institutional integrity, transparency, public participation, and technological innovations in combating corruption. By examining successful anti-corruption models from peer nations and assessing the applicability of these strategies within the Uzbek context, the thesis offers a comprehensive roadmap for improving Uzbekistan's anti-corruption measures. This work aims to contribute to a more transparent and accountable governance framework in Uzbekistan, ultimately enhancing its position in the World Bank's Corruption Prevention Index.
