Abstract

the process of concentration of brine from Lake Barsakelmes by evaporation in two blunts was studied. The concentration of magnesium chloride after the first stage of evaporation is 15-16%, and after the second 19-19.5%. In this case, precipitated the crystals of sodium chloride, easily separated from the solution. Further, the processes of desulfurization and desalination of a solution of sodium and magnesium chlorides by distillation liquid and sodium carbonate carried out. By further evaporation of the purified suspensions of magnesium and sodium chlorides, a bischofite melt with a content of at least 46.9% MgC12 and crystals of sodium chloride with a content of 98% NaC1 obtained.
